P.S. 91 OST After-School Program
(68-10 Central Avenue & 68^th Place, Glendale)  

The P.S. 91 OST After-School Program provides a leaning environment that supports Board of Education performance and recreation for neighborhood youth.  This program offers many opportunities for the children to express themselves. 

We provide a fun and safe environment for which students partake of recreational, educational and creative activities.  Healthy snacks are provided by the USDA through School Food, NYC Department of Education.  Our Homework Help program enhances the students’ school day experience.  OST emphasizes literacy along with health and social development.  Our participants have covered such topics as Multicultural Awareness, Community Service Projects, Adventure Education and Safety Programs.  The After-School program provides these services for 100 participants.  The After-School Program is staffed by Activity Specialists, Group Leaders and other support staff who have been trained in First Aide and CPR. 

The P.S. 91 OST After-School Program operates Monday-Friday from 2:20pm -6:00pm.  The OST program is also opened most holidays during the school closings.

 The OST program also provides a Summer Camp program from July – August.  The Summer Camp enrolls 100 children ages 6 – 12 years of age.  The Summer Camp provides its’ participants with educational and recreational activities based around a themed camp which ends with a summer show.  Breakfast and lunch are provided daily.

 Educational and Art Activities:
Homework Help, Arts & Crafts, Music, Dance, Adventure Education, Junior Achievement, Game Room, Arts Show, K Kids and Multicultural Activities and varieties of community service projects. 

Recreational Activities:
Chess, Checkers, Mancala, Gong-Gi, Basketball Clinics, Kickball, and other varieties of sports, tournaments and clinics.

 Special Events:
 Halloween Costume Party, Winter Holiday Party, Themed Days, Tournaments, Art Show and Tournaments of Champions. 

Summer Day Camp:
Arts & Crafts, Adventure Education, Junior Achievement, Music, Dance, Tournaments, Special Themed Days, Trips, Camp Show, Sports and other various activities.
