IS 93 After-School Program/21 CCLC

Since September 2005, the IS 93 OST/21 CCLC After-School Program has served approximately 100 children annually.  Our program is open to Intermediate School youth of IS 93 and it operates Monday – Friday between 3-6PM, during a school calendar year.

Our goal is to provide a learning environment that supports Department of Education performance.  We provide a fun and safe environment for which students partake of educational, recreational, and creative activities.  Our activities are designed to provide educational enrichment through Homework Help and Tutoring, Arts & Crafts, and Sports Activities.  Snacks are provided for every child and special events are also planned.

Educational and Art Activities:
Arts & Crafts, Choral Singing, Dance & Break-dancing, Drama, Homework Help, One-on-One Tutoring, and Talent Shows.

Recreational Activities:
Basketball, Chess and Board Games, Flag Football, Foosball Tournaments, Handball, Karate, Kickball, Soccer, Softball, Table Tennis, Volleyball, and a variety of sports tournaments and clinics.

Summer Programs:
Arts & Crafts, Drama Group, Indoor & Outdoor Play, Music Appreciation, Weekly Trips, Sports Activities & other activities.

Special Events:
Halloween Party, Winter Holiday Show, Valentine’s Chocolate Molding Week, Easter/Passover Celebration, End of the Year Talent Show.
